As the MTC-killing 'T cells robots' worked beautifully in a petri dish directly lysing MTC tumor cells, my hope is that they will fully eradicate tumors in mice, and that this study will provide proof-of-concept data to move toward a clinical trial. If you don't yet have a copy, please download the American Thyroid Association Guidelines for the Management of Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma, aka 'The Guidelines.' This is the MTC Bible. Read it and know it and it will help you and your doctor ensure you get the proper treatment.

Lastly, please consider looking into being seen by an MTC expert. We do our best to keep a running list of what we call 'Centers of Excellence.' These are doctors and facilities that are properly trained and experienced enough to treat MTC patients. It's one of the most important decisions you can make on your journey.
